Samsung Announces Windows 8 Powered Smartphone

  • Samsung became the first handset maker to announce Windows 8 powered smartphone at the IFA 2012 event called the ATIV S.  The Samsung ATIV S is also powered by 1.5GHz dual-core snapdragon S4 plus Krait processor with 1GB RAM for better performance. It is 8.7 mm thick and weights 135 grams.

    Samsung says, “Samsung ATIV S is a smartphone which is specially designed for both work and entertainment with Windows 8 operating system powering the device.
