Google Fibre - Google's New Ultra-High Speed Internet
Google Fiber starts with a connection speed 100 times faster than today's average broadband. Instant downloads. Crystal clear HD. And endless possibilities. It's not just TV. And it's not just Internet. It's Google Fiber. Its going to be 100 times faster than the average broadband connection attaining speeds upto 1Gbps.
Instead of a broadband connection, Google Fiber is composed of thin optical fiber lines that run directly from a person's home to a data centre, which is then in turn connected to the national internet backbone.
According to Google, it is this "direct connection" from a person's home to the national backbone that will allow users to experience such high internet speeds.
More people you have in your society ready for Google Fiber, you will be chosen as the first place to get Fiber network. Google has claimed to provide free internet access fro upto 7 years but still you are required to pay $300 installation fees.
Tariff For Google Fiber
Normal tariff would be like $70/month for internet connection and $120/month for internet and TV together. Now obviously with a speeds upto 1Gbps you are going to browsing will speeds of light, so imagine the world at that time no YouTube buffering, easy file transfer, downloads, online conferencing upto 100 people at one time and much more sky is the limit.
