New Features of Microsoft Office 2013

  • Tuesday, 17 July 2012
  • Microsoft has just released Microsoft Office 2013 Customer Preview officially for download and installation. The Office 2013 is only supported by Windows 8 and Windows 7. It’s a powerful suite that helps you unleash your best ideas, get things done and stay connected on the go.
Microsoft is calling it's new Office 2013 suite with the codename Office 15, which is a modern version of the software that is used on a billion of PCs in the worldwide.

Some of the New Features of Microsoft Office 2013 are

Your documents and setting roam with you with Office in the cloud
    • Sign in to your account and your Office applications, documents, and personal settings are right there, just the way you left them.
    • Save your work online in SkyDrive or SharePoint where it’s easy to access, edit, and share on the go.
    • Its ease-of-use makes it a compelling prospect for users who are comfortable using Microsoft's Office suite and require more document editing functionality than Google Docs or Microsoft's own Office Web Apps provide.
Keep your social networks and contacts well connected in Office
    • View multiple email accounts, Facebook updates, and LinkedIn feeds all in one place with Outlook.
    • Get ongoing updates on specific documents, sites and people delivered to your activity feed and stay connected in real-time by chatting with co-workers right within Office.
Fill PDF Support in Microsoft Word 2013

    • Microsoft has focused much to improve the User experience on Microsft Word documents in its 2013 version. The PDF support has also largely improved in Office 2013 allowing users to natively open PDF documents and edit them into Word documents. By default, the documents will open in a Protected View but an enable editing button lets you modify the content and save the document as a PDF again. Well i think its a good feature in Microsoft Word 2013.
Discover better ways to create, read and share documents
    • Capture and organize all kinds of information in OneNote—notes, pictures, web pages, voice memos, and other media—and easily share them with others.
    • View Word documents in the new Read mode for a clear, focused, and easy-to-navigate reading experience on large and small screens.
    • With your documents saved online in SkyDrive or SharePoint, you can review and edit simultaneously with others, with the latest changes and comments accessible to the group.
Now easily embed web videos in Microsoft Word 2013

    • Microsoft Word 2013 is now supporting online video, so now you can easily embed Online videos in your Microsoft Word 2013 document. You can easily add video from Bing , YouTube, or by using a video embed code.
